"Damn it!" Peter cursed, glancing at his watch.

"What is it?" Neal asked, frowning alongside him.

"Nothing. I just promised El we could have a date night tonight since she's been away on business for the last two weeks. Only I blanked for those two weeks and forgot to make dinner reservations plus I just realized there's no way I'm getting out of here early enough to make it to the florist."

"Never fear!" Neal stood. "I'll take care of everything."

"Oh?" Peter eyed him warily. "You're even going to write the card that says 'I love you, Hon' for me?"

"Sure," Neal said, gesturing dismissively. "Your signature's easy to forge." A beat passed in which Peter stared harder and Neal tried to look innocent. "Forget I said that."

And he was off.

"The flowers are amazing!" Elizabeth enthused and thankfully Peter got a look at them as his wife hugged him in greeting. They were spectacular - a huge bouquet of exotics in a cut crystal vase that took over most of the dining room table. "And how did you manage to get reservations for La Tiana?"

Peter grinned: just more Neal Caffrey magic.

"Oh, I know a guy..."

Playing catchup on everything but have to say that this is wonderful. I love this kind of Peter and Neal fun and it's a great prompt use as well.
