Numb3rs Fic: A Very Long Moment
Written for numb3rs100 Challenge #356 - Creep

Title: A Very Long Moment
Pairing/Characters: Charlie
Rating: PG
Word Count: 100
Spoilers: Pilot
Summary: The Craftsman's garage seems to have its own kind of time for Charlie
Notes/Warnings: Read the disclaimer on my LJ

There were clocks in the garage, but time worked differently there.

Charlie could easily delve into a problem enough to lose track of the hour, more so when he was working an FBI case.

Thirst nagged. Hunger swelled and ebbed. Exhaustion crept in like the sprawling shadows on the walls that invaded at dusk and retreated with the dawn.

He could emerge triumphant to find either impatient agents tapping their feet or a sleeping household, dark with dreams.

Regardless, he would deliver his findings then sink into the papasan chair for a moment's rest before bed.

A very long moment...

Oh my. I think this is just a perfect look at Charlie when he's in the math zone and knows it must take priority. Brilliant.
