Numb3rs Fic: Not a Guessing Game
Written for numb3rs100 Challenge #460 - Guess

Title: Not a Guessing Game
Pairing/Characters: Charlie/Amita, Don/Amita
Rating: PG13
Word Count: 200
Spoilers: Series
Summary: She thinks no one will suspect anything except maybe Don
Notes/Warnings: Read the disclaimer on my LJ

She hates not knowing and hates more having to guess how it will all turn out.

Amita lays a hand on her only slightly rounded belly. No one's even noticed yet that she's put on a few pounds. If her doctor hadn't confirmed the pregnancy test she might not even believe it herself.

She'll have a beautiful baby with dark hair and a strong nose. Their skin will be olive or tawny, eyes brown. They'll be smart; there's no doubt about that. Her child will certainly make the Eppes name proud.

So Charlie might never find out.

There is, of course, the chance he is the father of her baby and since they're married everyone will believe it's his. Charlie's even talked about wanting a boy. He's just the type to brag about being the first to give Alan a grandchild.

It's just the dates... That surrendering to the temptation that was Don...

Charlie might never find out.

But Don? Don might just know.

Amita lives in fear that Don won't want to keep their secret.

Guessing isn't a game she wants to play, but she doesn't know what will happen if Don realizes his brother is raising his son.

Confession
I confess that this should be in a series with my recent fic Temptation, but I have a midterm in the morning and a second one Wednesday. Call me lazy, but I don't have time to deal with a series post at the moment. Let's just call it an unofficial one since both stand on their own just fine.

Thanks,

Again, this is dirty and I love it. I know that probably sounds wrong but it's sexy in its naughtiness and in the unknown.

LOVE IT.
