Title: Decline to State
Pairing/Characters: Alan
Rating: G
Word Count: 100
Spoilers: Protest
Summary: Alan’s always had the strength of his convictions
Notes/Warnings: Read the disclaimer on my LJ
Just before he graduated college, Alan started applying for jobs. At one company he was given a long application to fill out, but what he read on it disturbed him greatly.
He felt it was wrong of them to ask for that information. He worried the answers might be used to discriminate against applicants.
Since the questions were mandatory, Alan wrote in his own additional options.
For the questions on race and religion he checked the squares he'd made marked 'Decline to State.'
He didn’t get called for an interview, but Alan still felt like he'd made the right decision.
