"Look at that little face!" Margaret cooed. "It's okay, sweets. You don't have to put it down. Mommy will buy you that toy."
+
"Well, I'm sure the other students won't mind if you skip this class assignment, Charlie," Mrs. Sampson conceded. "Just go ahead and work on your independent study math instead."
+
"Don't give me that face," Don scowled. "Crap, you're going to tell Mom, aren't you? Damn it. Here, just take them and if you tell Mom where you got them you're toast, okay?"
+
"It wasn't me! It was Charlie!" Marshall protested. "Why doesn't anyone ever believe that the great Charles Eppes could ever do anything less than perfect?"
+
"I bet you that pout gets you everything, doesn't it?" Amita sighed. "Okay, I'll grade your non-linear dynamics exams before I go home for the night."
+
"They were out of ribeye so I got pork chops instead," Colby said as he carried in the groceries. "And you can forget about making that face," he tossed back without even looking, bemused, "because if you're dead set on ribeye you're going to have to go to another market yourself or make that face at your father to get him to do it."
