It looked like a kid's coloring book, like someone had taken highlighters to the Eastern Seaboard and randomly filled in areas that had nothing to do with the individual states.

"This is the work of a genius?" Peter raised his eyebrows, but Billy just chuckled and dialed a number on the conference room speaker phone.

"Charlie? It's Billy. You're on with Agent Peter Burke and his White Collar Task Force in New York."

"Hello! I'm Professor Charles Eppes and what I've sent Agent Cooper is a geographic profile for Neal Caffrey."

"We've used geographic profiling before," Diana piped up. "This doesn't look anything like it."

"That's because I designed this methodology myself. See, Billy told me that Caffrey is trying to evade not just the FBI but a rival named Matthew Keller. This map takes into consideration both pursuit curves - the Bureau chasing Caffrey and Keller chasing him."

"So the end result is?" Clinton prompted.

"Where Caffrey thinks no one will look for him."

"Wait, how can you get into his head like that?" Diana asked, doubt in her tone.

"By using what we know about Neal we can make assumptions about his behavior. For example, Agent Burke had a list of known hideouts that Caffrey's used in the past so we can assume that he won't go back there and furthermore, will avoid those areas. We know that Caffrey prefers large cities. Keller knows that too so therefore Caffrey can't go to a well known city."

"So Boston is out," Clinton said.

"Exactly, but being a known felon he needs a big enough city for some anonymity."

"So based on this map," Peter asked, "what are the three top metropolitan areas?"

"The yellow areas: Providence, Rhode Island; Hartford, Connecticut and Dover, Delaware. He's there. The math says so."

How much do I love Charlie doing the math for Peter's team? Way. Too. Much.

I might need a whooole lot more of that. Yum. Plus, Billy hunting Neal? Delish. ♥
