White Collar Fic: New York in Winter
Written for whitecollar100 Challenge #073 - Ice

Title: New York in Winter
Pairing/Characters: Neal
Rating: PG13
Word Count: 100
Spoilers: Pilot
Summary: Neal paints the icy beauty of June's terrace after a winter storm
Notes/Warnings: Read the disclaimer on my LJ

Filthy slush lined oil-slicked streets, shoveled snow mixed with trash along the roadways and the air was filled not with jingling bells but loud horns and the sickening crunch of metal on metal as drivers lost control on icy pavement.

High above it all perfect icicles hung from stone eaves and pristine snow piled up on gargoyle heads. June's Tudor mansion after an ice storm was a thing of beauty.

Neal's view of the winter wonderland terrace would be frozen in time forever in oil. No signature on this painting; this exquisite visual was too real for a fake name.

Fantastic visual, truly a thing of beauty. I would love to see that painting.

And I like the "fake name" line.

This is a beautiful image. I wish I could really see it. And I love the end, the idea that Neal wont sign with a fake name but of course can't sign with his real one.
