Numb3rs Fic: Soundtracks
Written for numb3rs100 Challenge #370 - Track

Title: Soundtracks
Pairing/Characters: Ian, Don, Alan, Billy, Colby, David, Charlie, Amita, Megan, Larry
Rating: PG
Word Count: 200
Spoilers: Seasons 1-3
Summary: Everyone lives to the soundtrack of their own life
Notes/Warnings: Read the disclaimer on my LJ

Ian doesn't listen to music while he's on a case; it clouds his mind when he needs perfectly clear focus. After a case, he's been heard – by someone who all but begged witness protection in case it came back to him – singing 'Born on the Bayou' on his way to his next gig.

Don's a Springsteen fan through and through, but the little kid in him still kind of considers 'Take Me Out to the Ball Game' his favorite song to sing along to, preferably after a few beers.

Alan's all about the 60s and everyone can tell that from his record collection. What he listens to in private though are the classical artists Margaret once loved.

Billy's Mr. Southern Rock. Colby's a country boy from the actual country. David loves his old school hip hop and rap from New York. Charlie's a slave to the countdown. If it's fresh and new, he gives it a shot in his MP3 player. Amita hides Bollywood soundtracks behind her White Stripes CDs.

Punk came at the wrong time for rebellious teenage Megan, but she inflicted it gleefully on her society parents anyway.

Larry? He lives to his own internal soundtrack.

Eee now I have to make a n3 characters playlist. :-) That was a lot of fun in a tiny amount of words.

Sweet! I've been thinking about character playlists a lot recently.

I adore the idea of Ian singing. Speaking of LDP, are you watching Longmire?

I can see Ian singing that. Also Bad to the Bone. *g*

These are all perfect. I especially love the idea of Megan going punk just to horrify her parents.
