Confession Part 1
“Stats are usually fun for me. Not so much this year.” I wrote that for 2013’s annual journal review and now here I am thinking it’s even worse now. It’s January 2015 (no that’s not a typo, I really didn’t do my stats in January 2014) and I’m working on annual journal posts for two years. In 2014 I kept no records of fic in progress or done so all I have is what I published to LJ, which wasn’t much. That said, almost no fic got published in 2015, and all that did was in December – even my January Yuletide fic from the previous year!

While I did graduate from college in May of 2014, the second half of the year went crazy what with moving multiple times and eventually relocating to go to grad school in a whole new city. Apparently grad school is way harder than getting a bachelors. Who knew? ;-)

So here’s what I do know, even if it is less than previous years…

Numb3rs Fic Published Over the Years:
25 in 2005
150 in 2006
150 in 2007
135 in 2008
1 Vice (2007/2008)
110 in 2009
101 in 2010
71 in 2011
60 in 2012
47 in 2013
22 in 2014
Total N3 fic = 872

The final numbers for 2014 are as follows:

Published Fic:

Numb3rs – 22
Elementary – 1
Agents of SHIELD – 1
Sleepy Hollow – 1

Total - 25

I now have fic published in 32 fandoms: Numb3rs, Supernatural, Heroes, Criminal Minds, The Unit, Psych, Bones, Miracles, Brimstone, Cupid, Blood Ties, Primeval, Doctor Who, Torchwood, Firefly, Burn Notice, Dollhouse, Leverage, The Mentalist, Castle, White Collar, Lie to Me, Covert Affairs, Hawaii Five-0, Sherlock, X-Men, Revenge, The Sandman, Fairy Tales, Elementary, Agents of Shield, Sleepy Hollow. I've also published crossovers with Angel and His Dark Materials and both a crossover and a remix with Buffy.

Please note that all fic is tagged and will eventually be memoried for convenience. (I'm way behind on the memories portion, but tags are always in use.)

Please read Confession Part 2 for more comments.

Confession Part 2
I confess it seems disingenuous to write this a year after I was supposed to have posted it, but I can’t seem to just leave it blank. Looking back I’m pleased that I managed almost two dozen N3 fic, but sad I did nothing beyond that other than Yuletide. Yes, I have loads of excuses, but none of them mean anything. This was the year I pulled back from LJ and had to focus on life.

So to all my once upon a time betas and First Readers, I'm sorry I didn't have anything for you to read this year, but I do very much appreciate your support.

To the lovely people on my F-list who are around after all this time, thank you. I miss you and think of you despite the fact that I have no time or energy to interact. Please know that I still consider you my friends. I've always thought that it was more important for me to use my time to contribute fic to the fandom instead of comments, so know that every time I post new fic it's my gift to you, thinking of you and wanting you to have enjoyable fic to read.

Thank you as well to all the other people who read my fic: regulars, passers-by and lurkers. I may write it for myself and for my fandoms, but it means a great deal to me that you find my stories worthy of your time. I welcome you all to leave a comment, even just one. I am always happy to greet those who delurk (well, I do try, though it may take me a bit) and you may find that interaction is far more engaging than just sitting back and watching. The world is full of opportunities to reach out: try it.

Remember, I can often be found hanging about in Mel's slashchat so I'm never completely gone!

Happy New Year!
